Good Sunday evening, busy weekend, lots of activities and accomplishments.
A friend of mine came over so that I could show her how to wii and she is pretty active so she caught on to everything quite well and she did try everything that we had time for and it was a lot of fun. The one thing she didn’t want to do in front of others was the counting game, which is where you move your hips to add numbers to equal 10. You move either side to side or front to back and she thought that would be best played after a glass or two of wine… great idea, a wii-wine-fest – watch for details.
Like I said it was a fairly productive weekend and I did accomplish a lot of little things. Usually I like to reward myself after all that, so I decided to end the weekend with a few games of wii tennis. I really get into these games, if I have to point that out, so I was kicking some wii butt and playing a pretty rigorous game. I use the whole room as I would use the whole court, however I guess I was getting a tad bit too enthusiastic and I hit the lamp and it toppled and hit the statue of an ice sculpture on the way down, so not only did the lamp actually break but the ice sculpture broke in half, it can be glued, but the lamp.. I will ask at home depot tomorrow what can be done.
The next question is always did you make the shot and the answer is no, I did continue the game and I lost that too. Oh the woes of wii.
I will start talking about other thoughts on wellness next time – since this is about overall wellness afterall.
To our health,
Deborah
